We are thrilled to share with you that The Dream Factory was recently selected as the official Hult Prize 2021 Lusaka Impact Summit Host. As a registered Zambian nonprofit social enterprise, in this regard, The Dream Factory will be hosting the first-ever Hult Prize Impact Summit in Lusaka, Zambia on 20th March 2021.
The Hult Prize is the world’s largest social impact competition. It challenges young people to solve the world’s toughest issues by empowering them to make money, do good and make life better for millions of people through the creation of for-good for-profit businesses. Hult Prize is run in partnership with the United Nations Office of Partnerships and Hult International Business School, where student teams come together to compete to solve a pressing social issue by developing a scalable, sustainable social enterprise.
Hult Prize Impact Summits are hosted every spring around the world. In the last three years alone, more than 75+ international cities, representing every geographic region of the world have participated in hosting an Impact Summit. Welcoming the top 5,000 student entrepreneurs who emerge from the 300,000-person pool of Hult On-Campus Program participants.
The Hult Prize Lusaka Impact Summit will provide students from around the world an opportunity to showcase their innovative ideas, learn from their peers and be inspired by a generation of young people who are committed to changing the world through business. The very best startups represented for the summit will secure a spot in the world’s largest startup accelerator for impact and stand higher chances of winning $1,000,000 seed capital at the Hult Prize Finals that will be held in September at the United Nations HQ in New York, USA.
